This portrait of Jesus Christ was done by Chris Lowk. Looking at it my favorite part of it is, the way he was able to capture the emotion in the eyes. Looking into them it's as if you can feel the love & sacrifice behind them. For us it was a blessing just being apart of the creation process, but for our client this was far more than just a tattoo. For him it was more of a life compass...should he ever feel lost, he can look down at his arm & be found in the knowledge that Jesus Christ is the truth the light and the way. Great Job Chris!

From the Egyptians to Romans, and from Romans to Celts came the transference of the symbolism of cats. Unanimously, the cat represents the guardian of the Otherworld (or Underworld, depending which 
texts you apprehend from assorted regions). Stoic, bashful and mysterious, cats fit the bill of Otherworld guardians absolutely well. They keep the secrets of the Otherworld always to themselves, as the gaze with guile upon a world that does not see or accept the depth of their knowledge.

The Start Of Something Special...
If you've ever wondered what goes on behind a custom tattoo here at Ink Sessions Tattoo here's a peek into the process. The tattoo shown above has the original sketch included to the left.Althought this piece is far from completed it serves as a general layout of the design itself with a few adjustments here and there. Once you come in and have shared your ideas with your artist the two of you will then discuss the size and location that best fits you're design. He or she will draw up a rough sketch of what you've described, making any changes where necessary bringing it as close as possible to what you had in mind. Here at Ink Sessions Tattoo we specialize in custom work and enjoy transforming the ground work of an artistic idea into a realistic master piece. The most rewarding part for us is the look on our clients faces when they see their ideas brought to life, and hearing the excitement in their voices when they inevitably say... Let's do it!

Sagittarius and my name is Chris...lol ;) Today's piece was a lot of fun. It's a design similar to one most of you have seen here and there just changed up a bit. We added a little more sexiness to the character and bit more flare to the design.
Yes It Can Be Done...
Some of you may recognize this artworkfrom the wall mural we have in our shop done by our friend Abel Rocha. Keep in mind this was after one session with tattoo artist Chris Lowk and there is much more to come. That being said what was completed so far was no surprise to any of us, that even the tattoo version would have come out anything less than sensational. We at Ink Sessions Tattoo have been lucky enough to see this amazing piece of art daily and now after today so will our client ;)

Today's client came in with love on her mind, and her tattoo showed plenty of it. As always Marco did a fabulous job, the colors were so vibrant against her skin it was a beautiful piece of art indeed.

Sak Yant - Traditional Thai Buddhist tattoo in Bangkok
Another kind of tattoo that one can obtain in Bangkok is a "Sak Yant" tattoo, or "Temple Tattoo"
in Soi Awn Nut 25 at "Wat Tong Nai Temple", ther is a "Ruesi" ( a kind of sage who practises Buddhist and Animist magic), called Ajarn Thoy Dabos. He recieves devotees every day (except for of Holy days) for Sak Yant tattoos and magick love charms, potions and miscellaneous parephernalia for aquiring love, riches, longevity and protection. A Sak Yant tattoo is basically a sacred "Yantra" - a geometrical design charged with ancient Buddhist prayers and magick spells
